Job summary

Heritage at Lowman Nursing Center in Chapin, SC is seeking an RN Unit Manager to oversee nursing staff and daily operations within the unit, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Minimum two (2) years’ RN experience; LTC/SNF preferred; management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulatory guidelines for long‑term care; strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management and Scheduling: develop and manage unit staffing plans and coverage.
• Unit Operations and Quality Assurance: conduct rounds, QA checks, ensure clean, safe environment.
• Care Coordination and Resident Advocacy: participate in care planning meetings and liaise for hospice and other services.
• Compliance and Training: follow HIPAA, attend training, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administrative and Reporting: prepare payroll and staffing reports, document updates.
• Leadership and Team Collaboration: support staff, participate in policy development, act as weekend resource manager.
• Other Duties as Assigned: perform other duties as directed by DON or Manager.
