Job summary

Cloverdale Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Scottsboro, AL is seeking a Unit Manager RN to lead our skilled nursing team on site. The role focuses on directing nursing care, optimizing patient flow, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining a compassionate, patient-first approach.

You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, develop care plans, and drive evidence-based practices to improve outcomes and reduce readmissions. Alabama RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as Unit Manager or similar role.
• Certifications: Current RN license with the State of Alabama and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead by Example: Supervise and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Patient-Centered Care: Ensure individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Clinical Excellence: Develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices to improve outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Operational Efficiency: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, staffing, and supplies.
• Staff Development: Identify training needs and design coaching and education programs to enhance team performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
