Job summary

Charming Lakes Rehabilitation in Lakeland, FL seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team, ensuring resident-centered care, staff development, and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON with daily nursing operations.
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and guidance to nursing staff.
• Monitor resident care for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct daily rounds to assess resident needs and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, facility policies, and clinical protocols.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and survey readiness.
• Address staff concerns and resolve clinical or operational issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Support staff education and ongoing professional development.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive, professional, and resident-centered environment.
