Job summary

Eastern Health Group in Virginia is seeking an RN/LPN Unit Manager to provide direct nursing care and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards to maintain the highest quality of care.

You will consult with the healthcare team, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans, administer medications, monitor vital signs, participate in discharge planning, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN or LPN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Willingness to lead and mentor nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications; monitor and record vital signs.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure complete documentation.
