Job summary

Riverside Post Acute is seeking an RN Unit Manager for a full-time position. The unit manager will lead nursing operations on a designated unit and ensure safe, person-centered care for residents.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, BLS CPR, and 5+ years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting. Competitive benefits accompany the leadership opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Florida.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
