Job summary

Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Abington, PA, is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee daily operations of the unit and ensure high-quality resident care. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing and requires a valid RN license and long-term care leadership experience.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule. Responsibilities include care assessment, care planning, documentation, and on-call rotation to maintain

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with a valid license.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Unit Manager in Long-term care.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and local long-term care requirements.
• Long-term care experience.
• PCC knowledge and use in daily operations.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's condition.
• Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
• Revise the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
• Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
• On-call rotation.

Job Summary:

Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abington, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team. As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our unit and providing compassionate care to our residents.

Shift Type: Full-time (Monday thru Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care
