Job summary

Life Care Center of the North Shore is seeking an RN Unit Manager for the long-term care unit. The role supervises care, coordinates patient services, and ensures compliance with laws and Life Care standards. A nursing diploma and active RN license are required, with CPR certification and geriatric experience preferred.

The position offers a 7 a.m.–3 p.m. shift, full-time status, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Excellent leadership is expected to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Must maintain an active RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily functions of unit nurses and CNAs to provide leadership on the floor.
• Chart appropriately, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Provide, manage, and coordinate patient care and services through interpersonal contact.
• Accurately prepare and administer medication as ordered by a physician.
• Respond in a leadership capacity to emergency situations related to patient and staff safety.
• Coordinate patient care plans and services.
