Job summary

A healthcare provider in Windsor, CT is seeking a compassionate RN Unit Manager to lead quality care in a supportive environment. • Make daily rounds to ensure care needs and standards are met.
• Contribute to new policy development and implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial functioning possible on assigned unit.
• Actively participate in the Quarterly Assurance process, including attending the Quality Assurance meetings and submission of required reports.
• Make daily rounds on the assigned unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs for assigned unit.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
