Job summary

Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Yardley, PA, seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, staff leadership, and policy implementation in a sub-acute/long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license with BLS CPR, at least five years nursing experience, and two years of supervisory experience, with a preference for a nursing degree from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in PA (unencumbered).
• BLS CPR certification required for clinical leadership.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
