Oakland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Oakland, NJ, is hiring a full-time RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing unit and ensure high-quality, resident-centered care. The role runs Monday through Friday with an all-inclusive salary range of $70,000–$100,000 per year.

The Unit Manager will supervise staff, coordinate resident care, and participate in policy development. A valid NJ RN license and BLS CPR are required, with a preferred nursing degree and 5+ years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as a RN in the state of NJ.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
