Job summary

Arcadia Nursing & Rehab Center in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for an 8-hour daylight shift. The RN Unit Manager will direct RNs/LPNs and CNAs, ensure accurate ADL documentation, and communicate with residents’ families in a professional manner.

The role includes leading weekly care plan conferences with families and interdisciplinary teams, serving as the clinical point of contact during changes or transfers, and coordinating with physicians and NPs to ensure

What will you do as a Registered Nurse unit Manager (RN)

DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REGISTERED NURSE / RN UNIT MANAGER

As a Registered Nurse / RN Unit Manager at our elder care facility, you participate in the care planning process, updating care plans as needed through daily rounds. You are passionate about infection control and ensuring that our employees understand the importance of compliance with proper procedures and protocols for the health and safety of our elderly residents. You teach, mentor, and inspire each member to give their best and continue to develop professionally. You evaluate the performance of our CNAs, LPNs, and RNs and the daily staffing needs and assignments. You would also be responsible for implementing and monitoring policies, and reviewing daily progress notes to make recommendations.

Your creativity comes into play as you plan and carry out orientations, educational opportunities, and in-service events for the benefit of our entire nursing staff which in-turn benefits the residents of our senior care community. You enjoy your job, and your positive attitude filters down to our staff, as well as our patients and their families.
