Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. is seeking an RN Unit Manager for our Dover, Delaware location. This full-time, day-shift role requires on-call one weekend per month and supervision of nursing staff on the assigned unit.

You will oversee medication administration, nursing rounds, and staff education while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Active RN license and LTC supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in managing staff in a healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active RN license and state licensure requirements met.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and long-term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on the assigned shift and monitor medication distribution and patient care activities.
• Conduct nursing rounds multiple times per shift on each unit.
• Provide education and guidance to staff, residents, and families as needed.
• Ensure staff perform duties in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Nursing leadership or Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.
• Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift.
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members.
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years experience in managing staff.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certification and have no disciplinary action in affect against professional license.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
• Computer knowledge.

License

Must have an Active RN Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of DE.
