Job summary

Arlington Care Center in Newark, OH is seeking a full-time RN Unit Manager to assist the DON and ADON in leading nursing services for residents. The role is a Monday through Friday day shift with direct patient care and supervision of staff.

Minimum qualifications include Ohio RN licensure and at least 1 year of management in a Medicaid/Medicare certified setting, plus strong computer and communication skills. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Job description

Arlington Care Center, a skilled nursing facility located Newark, OH, is seeking a dedicated Full Time, experienced, energetic, and strong Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to assist the DON and ADON in leading the exceptional nursing services that are delivered to our residents daily. This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assist in the direction, coordination & evaluation of nursing care services provided to the residents.
• Implementing nursing services, objections and standards; resolving resident care issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all State & Federal guidelines.
• Ensuring all confidentiality and privacy rights of residents are observed & enforced.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents residing in the facility

The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered or Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervisor and management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility
• Must have excellent computer and communication skills.
• Must be able to follow all established Federal, State and Local rules, regulations and guidelines.
