Job summary

Highland Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure resident-centered care. This is a full-time position with hours from 7am to 3pm, offering a pay range of $50-$60 per hour and a sign-on bonus.

The Unit Manager will supervise clinical staff, coordinate resident care, and participate in policy development to sustain high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• MA RN license required
• BLS Certification (CPR) required
• Nursing degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in nursing care settings

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for resident care on the assigned unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote highest functioning.
• Ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate with follow-up to leadership.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed.
• Assist in policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor care plan compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.

Full-time opportunity available

Shift 7am-3pm Monday through Friday!

Sign-on Bonuses $12,000

Pay Range $50-$60 PER HOUR!

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
