Job summary

Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Buffalo, NY seeks an Experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead the Skilled Nursing Facility team. The role focuses on supervising the unit, mentoring nurses, and upholding high standards of care for residents in a 160-bed setting.

The ideal candidate has NYS RN licensure and preferably 2+ years in long-term care with prior charge nurse exposure, plus strong communication and computer skills to coordinate with management and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS RN license and be in good standing.
• 2 years long-term care experience preferred.
• 1 year charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong positive attitude to lead a group and mentor others.

Duties Include

• Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures

• Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases
• Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
• Represent the unit’s interests with the upper level management

Requirements

• Must hold valid NYS RN License
• 2 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
• 1 year of Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Should have an excellent positive attitude to act as the leader of a group
