Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff (LPNs, CNAs)
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and Florida regulations
• Monitor resident conditions, participate in care planning, and ensure timely documentation
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with CMS, AHCA, state, and federal guidelines
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and care conferences as needed
• Assist with audits, surveys, and quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Promote a positive, professional work environment and resident-centered care culture
