FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing team and drive excellence in resident care. The role focuses on daily operations, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain high standards in line with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus
• Must possess a current CPR license

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned unit to ensure quality service in accordance with nursing standards and FutureCare policies
• Oversees day-to-day care and maintains restorative health for residents
• Develops and implements resident care plans as needed
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and meets the care needs of each resident
• Supervise, counsel, and manage performance of nursing staff to ensure high-quality care
• Collaborates with Director of Nursing and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care
• Identifies procedural problems and works with the Director of Nursing to resolve issues
• Supervises and directs all clinical aspects of nursing practice and engages in clinical activities
• Acts as main contact between residents and families to address concerns
• Performs audits and completes charting, evaluations, medical forms, and other administrative tasks
