Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Antepartum Unit. The role requires 18 months of nursing experience and a BSN, with a master’s degree preferred if the graduate degree is not in nursing.

This is a full-time night shift with shift differential available and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. You will provide clinical leadership for nursing care, drive safety and quality initiatives, and help develop staff while ensuring excellent

Qualifications

• 18 months nursing experience required.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire; professional specialty nursing certification preferred.
• Behavioral Health - de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the Antepartum Unit.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives and streamline workflow.
• Support staff development and promote excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with department manager to enhance patient care and outcomes.
