Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Urology to join our Elmhurst office. The RN will perform inbound and outbound telephone triage, assess caller needs, educate patients, and support acute and preventive care through clinical assessment and problem-solving.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly pay range and a Monday–Friday schedule with travel to additional locations as needed. Join a growing network delivering patient-centered care across multiple sites.

• Clear communication with patients in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage and patient education using inbound/outbound calls.
• Coordinate insurance pre-authorizations and referrals as needed.
• Support glucose monitor placement and related testing where applicable.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies; assist in a fast-paced clinic.

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Urology

• Location: 1200 S York Rd, Elmhurst, IL

• Full Time: 40 hours / week

• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem‑solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties include: phone triage, patient education and continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre‑authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms.

What you will need:

• Current Illinois RN licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA)

• Office RN and BSN preferred

• Self‑starter, able to handle periods of high stress

• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.

• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
