Job Summary

Responds to patient inquiries via telephone, assessing symptom severity and medical needs using triage algorithms. Guides patients to appropriate care levels, schedules appointments with healthcare providers, and documents interactions in health record systems. Maintains and updates triage protocols and patient information. Utilizes various technologies to answer inquiries and educates patients accordingly.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure in NLC states. Licensure in patients' residing states required within 30 days of employment.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.
