Job summary

Edward-Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Triage (Pulmonary) in Naperville to provide telephone-based patient triage and education. You will manage acute and preventive needs, coordinate referrals, and support clinicians with monitoring devices and testing.

The role requires active Illinois RN licensure, AHA CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Office RN and BSN are preferred, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone-based triage and patient education.

• Perform testing, insurance pre-authorization, and referrals as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms: clean, stocked, and organized.

## RN Triage - PulmonaryApply: EDH MOB 1 Naperville 100 Spalding Drive: Full time: Posted Today: R47293**Hourly Pay Range:**$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - Pulmonary* Location: 100 Spalding Drive, Naperville, IL* Full Time: 40 hours / week* Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM .* Travel Required: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs**What you will do:*** Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention.
