Job summary

Circle the City seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical services in an ambulatory setting at East Valley Medical Respite Center in Mesa, AZ. The RN collaborates with licensed practitioners, triages patients, coordinates daily operations and ensures care aligns with regulatory standards.

The role requires supervisory care decisions, documentation in the EHR, and adherence to safety and PPE protocols. Safety-sensitive position with emphasis on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current AZ RN license.
• Certified in IV therapy, phlebotomy and BLS.
• Minimum one year experience in outpatient clinic, public health care, urgent care or ED preferred.
• Competent in basic nursing knowledge of illnesses and treatments.
• Understanding of substance and mental health issues.
• Computer proficiency including use of EHR.

Responsibilities

• Triage health center patients and prioritize care for urgent or high-risk needs.
• Manage patient flow by timely rooming, intake, vitals, history, allergies, etc.
• Implement standing orders as indicated by patient condition.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures.
• Administer immunizations and medications as ordered and document in the EHR.
• Perform tests and treatments; collect and transport specimens for lab work; document in the EHR.
• Document all services thoroughly in the EHR.
