Job summary

South Shore Health’s SSH VNA Triage unit is seeking a part-time weekend/holiday triage nurse supervisor in Massachusetts. Under the Nurse Manager, you will supervise extended hours and per-visit nurses, and provide direct patient care as needed in Rockland, MA.

Responsibilities include scheduling, prioritizing visits, staff training, coordination with Case Managers, and ensuring accurate documentation per agency policies.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts.
• Two years of acute care experience.
• BSN preferred; NLN-approved program desirable.
• Availability for weekend/holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, prioritize, and assess nursing visits for weekend/holiday shifts.
• Provide direct clinical supervision to weekend/per-visit nurses.
• Coordinate with On Call Manager and Case Managers for patient needs.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with agency policies.
• Act as a clinical resource and educator for staff.
