Job summary

Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking a Weekend Triage Nurse for a 32-hour weekend schedule. The role involves responding to and triaging daytime calls on Friday through Monday, coordinating treatment plans and arranging on-site patient care as needed.

The ideal candidate is a MA-licensed RN with hospice experience, strong communication, teamwork, and triage skills, plus experience with EMR systems. This on-site weekend position offers comprehensive benefits and professional growth

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts (MA)
2+ years hospice experience preferred
Experience using EMR systems
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience with Google Suite preferred

Responsibilities

Respond to and triage clinical calls Friday–Monday; plan treatment and coordinate on-site care.
Coordinate with On Call Manager to ensure patient needs are met during shifts.
Document clearly and communicate with patients, families and the care team.
