Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking an RN Triage Nurse to respond to patient calls, assess needs with decision support, and advise per protocols. The role includes scheduling appointments and delivering health education as required.

This is a full-time day-shift position located in Hershey, PA. Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Nursing, have active RN licensure, at least 3 years of nursing experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of employment or multi-state license via IHLCC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient calls seeking medical information or attention.
• Assess health needs using decision support software and provide guidance per protocols.
• Schedule appointments, answer questions and provide health education as required.
