Job summary

Arisa Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work remotely in Arkansas as an RN Triage Line Nurse. This role provides timely, safe, and client-centered telephone assessment and clinical support to Arisa Health clients.

The RN Triage Line Nurse serves as a critical connection between patients, providers, pharmacies, and the care team by addressing clinical questions, medication needs, appointment concerns, and urgent or crisis situations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or specialized training required.
• Current RN licensure in Arkansas.
• 2-5 years of related nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medications, dosing, indications, and potential adverse effects.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patient calls and assess the nature and urgency of clinical concerns.
• Provide nursing guidance within scope of practice and established protocols.
• Review medication refill gaps when clinically appropriate.
• Complete and submit medication and treatment prior authorization requests.
• Assess patients to mental health professionals, crisis services, or other appropriate resources based on clinical need.
• Accurately document triage assessments, interventions, referrals, and follow up recommendations.
• Coordinate care and communication among patients, nurses, physicians, mental health professionals, pharmacies, scheduling staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
