Job summary

Logan Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Triage Call Center, providing telephone-based clinical triage and symptom assessment. You will determine appropriate levels of care, review medical histories, and document interactions in the EMR while collaborating with providers and care teams.

Required Montana RN license or multi-state compact, 2+ years in a medical setting, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact with MT authorization
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in a medical setting
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent verbal communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize urgent patient needs and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong documentation, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, telephone-based patient care environment
• Ability to work collaboratively while also exercising independent nursing judgment

Responsibilities

Logan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Triage Call Center team. In this role, you'll use your nursing knowledge, critical-thinking skills, and clinical judgment to assess patient concerns over the phone, determine the appropriate next steps, and help patients navigate their care safely and confidently.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position for an RN who enjoys problem-solving, patient education, and making informed clinical decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact RN license with authorization to practice in Montana
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in a medical setting such as a hospital, clinic, or physician office
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent verbal communication and patient education skills
• Ability to prioritize urgent patient needs and make sound clinical decisions
• Strong documentation, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, telephone-based patient care environment
• Ability to work collaboratively while also exercising independent nursing judgment

Preferred:

• BSN
• Previous telephone triage, nurse advice line, ambulatory care, or call center experience

The Triage Call Center operates 365 days a year
