The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, with collaboration among providers and care teams to ensure timely and safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret medical records, physician orders, and medication instructions.
• Strong organization skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a respectful and professional work environment.
• Deliver quality nursing care in a patient-focused manner.
• Manage incoming patient calls using established protocols and gathering relevant clinical information.
• Provide ambulatory nursing care across various specialties.
• Implement care according to policies, procedures, and protocols, and best-practice standards.
• Assist with or perform medical procedures and treatments.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies; perform CPR as needed.
• Provide culturally competent health education and counseling.
• Accurately document care, communication, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Promote a safe, equitable, and respectful environment.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and workplace safety policies.
• Perform duties such as immunization visits, stand-alone RN visits, telephonic and in-person triage, care coordination/case management, and prescription refills per protocol.
