Job summary

Scripps Memorial La Jolla is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 12-hour Night Shift in the Stepdown Unit. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate assessment, planning and implementation, and monitor progress alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of recent RN experience
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Certification
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning and implementing care
• Evaluate patients' progress towards expected outcomes
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient care and safety
• Support team to maintain patient comfort and autonomy
