HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Florida is seeking a Trauma Registered Nurse for PRN shifts to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy trauma unit. You will assess patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure timely interventions.

Qualified RNs with ACLS/BCLS/ENPC/PALS/TNCC within specified timelines, along with an Associate Degree and 1 year of RN experience, are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Active RN license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• ACLS/BCLS/ENPC/PALS/TNCC certifications encouraged.

Mansioni

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift; report changes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Trauma Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In partnership with medical providers, the RN recognizes and reacts to emergent situations and assists in surgical site verification. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
