Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Transplant Nurse Coordinator for Bone Marrow Transplant. You will coordinate testing, provide education, and support patients through transplantation, working closely with the transplant team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS CPR, and at least 2 years of RN oncology experience; BMT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 2 years of RN work experience in oncology required; BMT experience strongly preferred.

Job Details:

The Transplant Nurse Coordinator - Bone Marrow Transplant prepares patients for transplantation through arranging and monitoring required testing, providing education and ensuring that internal and external activities are coordinated.

Other responsibilities include:

• Assessment of patient health status through diagnostic procedures and tests, review of labs and other clinical indicators
• Provides patient care working closely with other members of the transplant team.
• Assumes responsibility to answer pages on an on-call basis.

Salary Range: Minimum 47.96/hour - Maximum 74.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
