Overlake Medical Center & Clinics invites RNs to join a transition program into a new specialty of practice, starting with an ED rotation. The role supports a .9 FTE during the program and emphasizes evidence-based education and precepted clinical learning.
Eligibility includes graduation from an accredited RN program, WA RN licensure, and BLS/CPR; ACLS is strongly preferred. One year commitment in the assigned unit and shift is expected.

Overlake Medical Center has opportunities for nurses looking to transition into a new specialty of practice.
Nurses with greater than one year of experience are eligible. The transition program is based on best practices and evidence-based education.
During the program, you will work a .9 FTE (72 hours per biweekly pay period). After completing the precepted portion of the program your FTE and shift will be based on available positions, with a high probability of .9 FTE, Night shift. Commitment of one (1) year in unit at assigned FTE & shift.

RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
