Job summary

Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, WA is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time, part-time, and on-call positions across day, evening, and night shifts. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to provide whole-person care, and participate in our shared governance model that includes nurses in setting practice standards.

The Transitional Care Unit handles high‑acuity cases to support recovery and return home. Candidates must hold a Washington RN license and BLS.

Qualifications

  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in a high-acuity Transitional Care Unit.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver whole-person care.

Description Providence is calling for Registered Nurses (RNs) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are looking for Full time, Part time, and On-Call for all shifts (Day, Evening, Variable) About the role: Registered Nurses (RNs) work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide whole-person quality care to patients in need. Nurses are empowered by our shared governance model that includes nursing staff in the process of creating practice standards and expectations. About the department: Providence Mount St. Vincent’s Transitional Care Unit is an intermediate and high-acuity department that facilitates recovery from serious injury, illness, disease or medical condition. From the moment patients leave the hospital, we guide and care for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs before they’re able to return home, preparing them for the road ahead. Our Transitional Care Unit is an interdisciplinary haven for healthcare professionals interested in handling medical complexities (fractures, complex wound management, IV management, dialysis, oxygen therapy, TPN etc.) in a more comfortable and home‑like setting for the patients.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Nursing Food Handler’s Permit
  • 1 year Med‑Surg experience (Acute vs Sub‑Acute)
  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants/CNAs

Compensation

Pay Range: $43.12–$66.95. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
