Job summary

Billings Clinic is seeking an RN Transfer and Referral Center Navigator (.9 FTE) to coordinate regional patient transfers and facilitate clinical conversations through the Transfer Center.

The role requires acute care experience, Montana RN licensure, and strong communication; you will balance bed availability, collaborate with providers, and ensure safe, timely patient movement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Montana RN licensure.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Call center/ Transfer Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triages nursing needs and coordinates provider conversations.
• Balances bed supply and patient placement to minimize delays.
• Engages ancillary staff to resolve throughput barriers.
• Supports Administrator on Duty and Patient Placement roles.
• Maintains safety, quality, and confidentiality in all tasks.
