Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as staff development and training coordinator. The RN will develop, coordinate, facilitate, track, and evaluate training to ensure quality care across our crisis services and other programs, with travel to sites as needed.

You will work with Operations, Health Services, HR, Compliance, and legal teams to ensure education meets standards and contracts.

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted GA Nursing License.
• Certification as a CPI Instructor and ongoing crisis intervention training.
• Valid Georgia Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Two years of CPI instructor experience.
• Two years of training Healthcare Materials.
• Maintains certifications and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or organizes trainings for CARF audits and related processes.
• Facilitates scheduling, coordination and delivery of new employee orientation.
• Attends on-site orientations to teach courses and oversee orientation.
• Develops trainings meeting internal/external standards for various programs.
• Conducts CPI initial certification and recertification trainings as needed.
• Collaborates with Nurse Managers to determine training needs.
• Designs educational materials and aids for health and safety.
• Maintains curriculum database, CEUs, and training records.
• Schedules and delivers staff training across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with GA Nurse Practice Act.
