Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience in a level I trauma center and be skilled in floating to various intensive care units. This position requires competencies in handling patients in neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), as well as ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients across various specialties.
• Float to different intensive care units as needed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Epic experience required.
• Previous experience in a level I trauma center preferred.
• Experience with floating to various ICUs is highly desired.
• Competency testing will be required within 24 hours of submission.

Schedule

This position operates on a 7P - 7:30A schedule.
