Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant Opportunities

Our Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant program is a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients. If you aim to increase your knowledge base, our leadership fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and professional growth.

Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant

Patient Population: Patients undergoing minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic (VAT) surgeries, esophagectomy, hernia repair, and lung transplantation. Also, care for ENT, abdominal, and orthopedic surgeries requiring heart monitoring.

Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4 based on acuity.

Department Specifics: Our expert team of surgeons has pioneered minimally invasive (VATS) approaches to lung cancer treatment and robotic surgeries for various thoracic diseases, supported by the latest research and clinical trials. The culture is supportive of learning, with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, patient care techs, therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Open Statuses: Full Time.

Open Shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Nights.

Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
