Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant Opportunities

Our Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant is a fast-paced environment that include high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.

Patient Population

Patients undergoing minimally invasive video-assisted thoracoscopic (VAT) surgeries, esophagectomy, hernia repair, and lung transplantation. Also take care of ENT, abdominal, and orthopedic surgeries that require heart monitoring.

Patient Ratios

1:3 or 1:4 based on acuity.

Department Specifics

Expert team of surgeons has pioneered minimally invasive (VATS) approaches to lung cancer treatment as well as robotic surgery for the treatment of many thoracic diseases with the latest research and clinical trials. Offer a management team that is supportive and a culture that is conducive for learning! Multi-discipline teams include Nurses, Patient Care Techs, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.

Registered Nurse Requirements
  1. Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  2. License/Certification
  3. RN – Registered Nurse min 1 year experience
  4. BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
