Job summary

Qualifications

Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
At least 1 year of nursing experience required.
Telemetry and Oncology experience preferred.
BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
Chemotherapy competency training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practices and standards of care.
Maintain ongoing communication with patients and care team.
Administer medications with bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments and care plans at point of care.
Provide patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
Coordinate safe discharge planning and transitions of care.
