Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking an experienced registered nurse for full-time night shifts in the Philadelphia area. The role centers on delivering high-quality, patient- and family-centered care with a focus on safety, education, and collaborative practice.

You will work with an inter-disciplinary team to plan discharge and ensure continuity of care. Applicants must possess an RN license (PA) and a Specialized Diploma, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma or nursing credential required.
• Knowledge of patient and family-centered care, and respectful collaboration with diverse patients and families.
• Effective communication concepts and techniques for transmitting and interpreting information.
• Ability to work within nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication.
• BLS/ABHHSA and RN qualifications as stated; PA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, coordinated patient care within care teams.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications, and post-discharge steps.
• Follow nursing protocols to minimize risk and improve quality and safety.
• Participate in hospital and practice committees focused on safety and quality.
