Job summary

St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center, part of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, is seeking a part-time RN to join the Telemetry Department Float Pool. The role requires cardiac telemetry experience and active New York RN licensure.

You will assess, monitor, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care across telemetry units. A full two-week Monday–Friday orientation is mandatory.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• New York RN license & registration.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Experience reading cardiac monitors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and administer medication for cardiac telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patients and families with education and safety interventions.
