Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The role requires adherence to nursing processes, proper assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, within organizational policies.

The successful candidate will coordinate patient care activities, maintain high standards of practice, and demonstrate professional growth and accountability in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Functions within organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities for all assigned staff.
