Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night-shift position in Med Surg. The staff nurse will deliver nursing care across the patient lifecycle, following organizational policies and maintaining professional standards.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, while coordinating activities of the nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification required.
• One year hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Use nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
