Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our cross-campus float pool in Concord, CA. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 12-hour day shifts across Walnut Creek and Concord locations.

Candidates should have a California RN license, at least 2 years telemetry experience, BLS/ACLS, and travel nursing experience. NIH stroke scale certification is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses to join our cross-campus float pool. Nurses will work across all Med-Surg and Tele units, including PCU when skill sets allow, at both our Walnut Creek and Concord locations. Candidates with PCU experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Telemetry and Med-Surg units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and vital signs for cardiac patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• California RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Telemetry experience.
• Strong telemetry skills, including pre and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active California Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
