Description:This position is for a Travel RN on a Cardiac/Telemetry unit.The unit has 45 beds and a total of 55 staff members.A charge RN and 9 RNs will work alongside 4 Patient Care Techs and 1 Unit Clerk.Patient ratios are 1:5-6.Equipment used includes Vital Spot Monitoring, GE Telemetry Boxes, and EMR technology.This fast-paced floor requires candidates to adapt quickly.Knowledge of cardiac drips and medications is preferred.Experience with post-catheterization care and CHF/COPD patients is a plus.Typical procedures performed include cardioversions and occasional thoracentesis.Ideal candidates will be team players and receptive to feedback.Scrub color for the position is royal blue with scrub jackets permitted.This facility is known for its comprehensive cardiovascular care, among other services.It holds multiple accreditations and recognitions for quality care.Joining this team offers exposure to new equipment and technology in a supportive environment.
