Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Telemetry on a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA. The role features 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with a total of 12 hours per shift, and requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

You will work in a brand-new telemetry unit designed for 24/7 monitoring, perform Med/Surg telemetry procedures, draw labs as needed, and participate in hourly safety rounding. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; navy uniforms apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry/Med/Surg.
• Shifts are 12 hours and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry for patients in a 24/7 unit.
• Perform Med/Surg telemetry procedures and draw labs as needed.
• Provide bedside care and hourly safety rounding.
• Adhere to unit dress code and policies.

Description:General comments:This is a brand new unit designed to provide 24/7 telemetry monitoring for patients.The unit has a total of 10 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1.Staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 PCT.The type of equipment used in the unit includes telemetry devices.The documentation system utilized is Meditech.Scheduling requires working every other weekend.Shifts are for 12 hours.Floating to other like units may be necessary, or to the ED for telemetry holds if needed.Patient experience requirements include bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding.Advanced skills needed include performing general Med/Surg telemetry procedures and the ability to draw labs.Dress code requires navy blue uniforms.
