Must-Have:

• Cardiac Telemetry experience

Description:Provide care to adult and geriatric patients.Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias.Manage patients with pacemakers, temporary or permanent.Administer intravenous insulin protocols as needed.Care for patients undergoing pre and post cardiac procedures.Assist with hemodialysis management and renal failure care.Implement rapid response and code team protocols.Perform wound care and management of surgical drains.Utilize telehealth practices for patient care and monitoring.Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR.Perform phlebotomy and manage IVs, including PICC lines.Ensure proper oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control practices.Participate in patient education and discharge planning.Float to Med/Surg and ED hold areas as needed.Cover weekend shifts as required.Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.Manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drips without titration.Demonstrate proficiency in the use of telemetry equipment.
