Qualifications

• Must have current, valid state RN license.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications, treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferences are performed per policies.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process from admission through discharge and return to family and community.
• Visit residents on assigned unit daily to assess status and notify appropriate staff of changes.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures if physician is unavailable.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
