Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Lead the unit as formal and informal leader and coordinate daily planning.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, acuity, and resources while ensuring safety and quality.
• Provide staff development, teaching, and precepting; participate in quality improvements and research.
• Coordinate nursing care, patient/family education, and transitions of care within Mayo Nursing Care Model.
• May provide direct clinical care as needed.
