Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Virginia seeks an RN Team Lead for Endoscopy at CNRVMC to oversee staff and patient care on a full-time basis. You will lead a clinical team, coordinate care, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a busy endoscopy setting.

Qualifications

• This job requires graduation from a State Board of Nursing approved program.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Current RN license in Virginia; specific certifications may be required for OB/GYN or behavioral health roles.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:

This position is located at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRVMC) in Christiansburg, VA.

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday, working four 9 hour shifts 0700-1630 with overnight and weekend call requirement.

The RN Team Lead provides clinical leadership and oversight for patient care delivery while supporting staff development, operational efficiency, and quality outcomes. This role serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and team leader to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care across assigned areas.

The RN Team Lead

What We Require:

Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience including demonstrated clinical and leadership expertise required.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. For Behavioral Health roles, de-escalation training must be completed within the required timeframe. For OB/GYN roles, EFM NCC certification required.

Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage challenging patient situations as appropriate to role.

Compensation Range: $39.00 - $62.40

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
